10Mbs Internet access for Canadian Department of Defense provided by Base Technology Ltd for 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
In preparation for the 2010 Winter Olympics Games, Base Technology Ltd installed dedicated Internet access for the Canadian Department of Defense. The contract was awarded on December
24th 2009 and completed on Jan 8th 2010.
Using the latest in wireless communications technology this new service provides dedicated Internet access up to 10Mbs for
several government departments and labs stationed in Whistler.
This Internet connection, which will be in place until the beginning of March, is one of several that have been rapidly deployed for commercial customers in Whistler during the winter games.
